The special cooking grate at the core of TRU-Infrared technology spreads heat evenly across the grill top. And because it creates a barrier between food and flames, flare-ups are history. End result- juicier and more flavorful food every time.
Char-Broil TRU-Infrared cooking system allows the griller to cook their food evenly and with greater temperature control, using infrared technology. The Infrared heat helps prevent hot and cold spots on the grill's cooking surface and facilitates faster cooking with the use of less gas.
With the Char-Broil TRU-Infrared cooking system, top-ported stainless steel burners can be easily adjusted to deliver high heat or very low temperatures evenly across the cooking grate.
Primary cooking surface features rust-resistant porcelain-coated steel grates which retain heat, are easy to clean and measure 17.5-in wide x 17.1-in deep. Provides ample cooking space for about 16 burgers. Also features a 95-square inch warming rack ideal for buns, sides and indirect warming.
Electronic ignition system is powered by one AAA battery and offers fast and reliable burner lighting with the push of a button, (one alkaline AAA battery included). And the lid-mounted temperature gauge provides the griller with increased heat monitoring and control.
Two side shelves are durable and offer increased work and prep space. Shelves fold down for storage or to accommodate smaller spaces. Side shelves are also Gear Trax enabled for extra workspace with custom options (accessories sold separately).
The cabinet design offers convenient storage for the propane tank, grilling tools & accessories. Sits on four casters, (two of which lock), for easy mobility around your deck or patio.
